Erica Zurek is a freelance multimedia journalist and photographer currently based in Minnesota. Her reporting focuses on health, policy, the environment and other subjects, and has appeared on Here & Now, Montana Public Radio and in KFF Health News, NPR, CBS News, The Daily Montanan and elsewhere.
Before journalism, she worked in community health, taught high school and roamed around in the mountains and sea as an outdoor educator.
